Description
This bird is now called the Greater Sage Grouse. It is the largest grouse in North America. Its range is the western United States, where Sage brush grows. The Sage brush is the dominant food for the Sage Grouse.
This species engage in elaborate courtship displays. The males congregate in large groups, called “leks” to perform their strutting displays for females.
